Borden Parker graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1966 with an AB and 1969 with a JD from the University's School of Law. After spending four years in the U. S. Army JAG Corp, he returned to Goldsboro as a solo practitioner until he joined the firm in 1978.
A native of Goldsboro, Borden has been the Wayne County attorney since 1975 and has represented other government agencies and counties. He also represents Greene County. In addition to his focus on governmental work, Borden practices domestic law and other matters.
Borden has been active in community affairs, serving on the Salvation Army Advisory Board and the Wayne County Chapter of the American Cancer Society. He is an elder in the First Presbyterian Church.
