Phil Baddour is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina School of Law (1967). He brings over 43 years of experience to his practice of Personal Injury, Workers' Compensation, Social Security Disability and Civil Litigation. Phil represents the Goldsboro Housing Authority, Wayne Community College and the Village of Walnut Creek. Additionally, he is a certified mediator and frequently mediates cases for attorneys across Eastern North Carolina.
A native of Goldsboro, Phil was formerly a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives where he served as the Majority Leader for two terms. Phil currently serves as President of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and as Chair of the Clean Water Management Trust Fund. He has also served on the Commission for the Future of the Courts in North Carolina, the North Carolina Economic Development Board and the North Carolina Board of Transportation. Phil is past president of the Goldsboro Area Chamber of Commerce, the Wayne County Economic Development Commission and the Goldsboro Rotary Club. Also, Phil is a retired Colonel with the North Carolina National Guard, where he served as Staff Judge Advocate.
